Detects Unintended Movement
The system continuously monitors for any unintended elevator movement — whether caused by hydraulic failure, electrical fault, or mechanical issue. The moment unsafe motion is detected, the brake is triggered.
Engages Directly on the Rail
Unlike traditional systems, HydraSafe grips directly to the elevator guide rail — bypassing the drive system entirely for immediate, reliable engagement. No dependency on hydraulics or electrical systems.
Brings Elevator to a Controlled Stop
The rail-grip mechanism brings the elevator to a smooth, controlled stop — protecting passengers and preventing damage to the elevator system. The brake can then be reset and the elevator returned to service.
